Buyers – How do I choose Jett Title for my closing(s)?

To your lender: Specifically request Jett Title to be used for your closing. Tell your lender as early in your application process as possible.
1. Most professional lenders will accommodate your request. They should want to make you happy, and Jett Title has an excellent reputation.
2. However, lenders do have the final say as to who they permit to perform their title work for them…but wait! Read below:

3. Realtors can INFLUENCE the lenders’ choice of title company. Inform your Realtor of your unwavering choice of Jett Title.
4. Lastly, beware of these traps:
You may get some initial push back if that lender, or loan officer, if tha loan officer want’s to use his buddy instead. Most excuses any lender comes up with are easily overcome:
a) “My buddy’s fees will be lower”. Nope: We will accept the title fees that the lender is used to putting on his/her loan estimates or worksheets.
b) “My buddy will be faster and better”. Nope: We are exceptionally fast and accurate, and have earned an exceptional reputation as such.
c) “Jett is not on our ‘approved’ list of title companies.” Not likely, but if true, we can easily get on their list with one email. Most lenders do NOT have approved lists. This email for an approval request is standard and only takes seconds to send.
d) “ They’re bad”, or any other negative untruth. Nope. We are highly respected by all parties in the market, even by all professional competitors. Negative untruths are an easy, unverifiable, way to get you to allow the lender to use THEIR title buddy. The “low road”.
e) Devious lenders may tell you they will use Jett Title, BUT then order your title through their title buddy anyway, against your wishes. Making no bones about it, they can switch the title/closing BACK to Jett Title at NO COST TO YOU, in almost every case – call us. If you are told that switching BACK to Jett Title will cost you any fees, tell them you will report them to the CFPB (The community’s watchdog for unscrupulous lenders!)  HERE:
